So, I've got this 512x512x196 world sitting empty, collecting dust. I would like to dedicate the whole lot of it to a single glorious project. Ideas on what to build? Oh, and the owner of the best idea gets a $20 world to build in. (Relax, I'm footing the bill.)

You could make a GIGANTIC Bengal tiger, that would take up one side of the world, there could be giant green towers molded to look like stalks of grass, perfect terrain to be stalk prey in. if you really wanted, you could remake the size of the Bengal tiger to have it stalking an antelope or something.

Favorite game of all time? Either final fantasy tactics or shining force. Movie? O brother where art thou. Tv show probably house.
Cool ideas so far but they're all tall, I'm looking more for a scene or landscape type build that would fill the space. Don't want to say my own ideas want to see if someone else thinks of it too.

um....a orginal building? the Ren Building, look it up if you dont know what it is.
the Titanic (unorginal, but with your Talent its would be awesome) apollo the space shuttle. a sweet robot? Palacio de Bellas Artes, or "Palace of Fine Arts" look it up :D the empire empire state building? well thats all i cant think of....well tell me if any of these you are gonna use :P

Lots of good ideas but so far none of them really make use of the full amount of space. Some of the things I was thinking... a full city being destroyed by a nuclear bomb, mushroom cloud in the center, shockwave destroying sky scrapers, and then just outside that, the pristine, about-to-be-destroyed rest of the city. Or maybe the entire Tron city as shown in the new movie, but that might be kinda boring after a while, building everything out of obsidian and teal/orange.

You could do a city getting hit by a tsunami. Placing all the water would be really difficult but it would be epic.

mmmmm, well how about a city full of seperate Buildings, but so frickin awesome, and then parts of it gets blown up because of a few meterors, or A spaceship?

I think you should build the roman colosseum
Make it the best, most detailed creation made by you so far on opticraft :D
Maybe it will even rival the statue of liberty :d
If you do make this i would look foward to seeing the outcome :D
+ if you have room you could make a scene of 2 mythological gods/titans in battle

Mmm... now that might work. I'll have to do some math to see if there's going to be enough resolution for those smaller passageways. Nothing worse than details lost to voxelization. Not necessarily the winner yet but a strong contender ;)

mmmm, well how about the background is like a Battle with alot of people running into a fight (i meant around the borders, a full on attk, i was thinking of Kronos and well Zeus lol OR Gaia, and the Sky (forgot the name...starts with a O) :D:D:D) well then huge sized figures fighting in a areana, like, a...Spleef areana? :P well yea lol lighting flash in the sky ;) and the Roman Wins! btw, this was kinda meant to go with Heirre`s idea tbh.

lol the world would have to be 1000x 1000 x 1000 for something like that :p
o and for my coll. idea, instead of lions in the cages, you could put creepers or something in there :p

well you good do a Death Star or somthing in the sky, and make the place like a city or a forest, and have these HUGE animals destroy the buildings and the thing in the sky (like the death star) use it and blow up buildings...how i see it is AWESOME lol :D

each square would be 64x64x196, I'll have to see whether this is enough room for cool pieces. (I'm sure rooks & knights could overhang some if needed)

How about... A USAF arieal battle above the ground, with missiles, planes and stuff.
Or one super detailed plane.
Or a really super cool artistic shapy thing.

I think I will go with Soul's idea of the epic chess battle. And I think with his prize world he should make a chess game with minecraft mobs. Chickens, pigs, cows, tame wolves, and the defult skin guy vs skeletons, creepers, zombies, slimes, and notch :)

Or a /tree command. I played on a server once where you type /tree, click, and boom, instant random tree. And if you put it too close to anything else the leaves and branches would replace whatever was there :D
