Lately, ive been having trouble getting on. I would lag out due to java not responding, and then wouldnt be able to get on for many minutes. i can get on other servers, im posting this now, and im emailing somebody, so lost internet is out of the question. Anyone know what this is/how to fix it?

EDIT: Just as i was gunna press post, it came back on, and i learned that i was not alone, but it cant be Multiplater being down becuase i didntget the HTTP msg onscreen. So plz, dont lock it just yet, so we know what to do in the future. id like some answers!

Hey there! Mopar here, Bringing you my newest, and most promising, town. The location is so awesome, alot of you wont believe me. Until you see it. So, if you have ever been in SP in creative, and gone to the nether, and dug staight up, Ull know what im talking about. Thats right, my new town is on the bedrock roof of the nether. Im deffinetly not gunna tell you the home I used get there, as I dont want people up there. And please, if you know a hom set up there, keep it to yourself. I dont want to have to apply for a City proection, or have dia ps's covering it.

So, as of now the town is NOT open to the public. I will not be selling plots until i have a wall surrounding the town. But when i do open it up, i will have 2 plot sizes. Lapis ps plot size, for $5,000, and a Coal ps plot size for $2,500. The roads will be named, ad they are made out of sandstone. Roads will most likely be named completly random, except for the road next to the town hall.

So far, i hav a few people working on the town with me.

The Coal PS's will NOT come with the home. I will leave them in there until the owner is able to claim it. I will leave the holes so the new owner knows were to put the ps's (if there coal)

Why you should become a moderator? :

I became a trusted sometime in late May. I was asked in late July, “Mopar, are you gunna make a mod app?” I said, “No, I’m not ready for it.” And I wasn’t. But recently, I have gotten much better at getting to know Minecraft better than most players I meet, and I got to be a Mod on another server that has many of them same plugins as Opticraft, and has a good amount of players. I looked at that experience, and now, I think I am ready for the Mod status on Opticraft. I am finding myself being bored more and more on Opticraft, and I think, no, I KNOW that having Mod will completely eliminate that boredom.

Whenever someone asks a question, I love to answer it. If I am confused by the question, I ask more about what they mean. I always try and try and try to answer there question truthfully and give the best explanation I can. (I know this will be irrellevent to this server, but I’m putting it in anyways.) Since I have things like World Edit and /give, I always have a complete Item ID list open behind my Minecraft window. I also used to have a LB “Cheat Sheet” to help me with lb, because the first time I did it, I rolled back more than I wanted. Also, whenever I plan to do something, I love to first plan it out in a Grid notebook, like for math, and then, if I have time, I put it into a Microsoft Excel sheet. What I’m trying to say here, is that I am very responsible. If I want to do or learn something, I will stop at nothing to be the best I can be at that. That goes for being a Mod too.

I have talked to mods, and I realize how busy they are. I realize that many players want to be mod, get it, and then resign quickly because they can’t handle it. I can see why. Some people on Minecraft are flat out jerks. The spammers; the mad people who got griefed; the mad people who grief, and so on. They have no respect for moderators. I cannot say I will be immune to these comments, but I will try 110% to turn those comments into a lesson for both me and the other player. I would also make a good mod because no matter what is going on in my real life, I always have a good mood on Minecraft. Ask some of my friends, they’ll back me up on that. I would always be willing to help people, I would respect them, and I would respect my rights.

Lastly, I want to be a mod so I can be an actual help to the server. I still want to help answer questions, along with rolling back those unwanted griefers, placing water, and whatever the other jobs Mods do that no one knows about. I would make a great mod, and I feel I just might go all the way. But of course that’s up to you.

I have some bad news D: I won’t be on Minecraft for a while because, as some of you know, I just moved from Colorado to Florida. We have recently found the house that we want, so we are starting to make the grueling 2 round trips from FL to CO, back to FL, back AGAIN to CO, and finally, back to FL, were we will stay. That’s when I’ll be getting on. I might get a few chances to get on here and there, but since the Internet is cut at my old home in CO, I won’t be playing there. I might be able to hop on for an hour or two at the hotel near Dallas, Texas were going to stay at. This is not an "I’m leaving the server" type thing to get attention. I am going to a place where there is no internet for about a week and a half-ish.

As some of you also know, I am going to apply for moderator very soon (it says that just to the left of this post too ). Since I am going on this little trip, to the Ops and Admins (and Opti ), I hope this trip doesn’t effect my chances for achieving mod because of my inactivity. Trust me, I will steal every minute of internet I have. Please, do not hold this against me; it is really not my fault. Moving is a big job. Thanks for your support!
