Title: Olympia
Post by: 360OLLIE on April 14, 2013, 03:37:25 pm
Olympia

Cookiemaster9 and I have decided to make a city. We made a mansion for ourselves but decided why not make a town around it? We did just that though we are still ways from completion.

If you would like to help, we would appreciate that you donate.
 Anything like: smooth stone, stone bricks, oak logs, sandstone, Oak Leaf Blocks, and glowstone would really be appreciated. If you can donate, just say here and give the resources to one of us in-game.

Donaters Big thanks to all donators: FNVcourierjon, hopper2468

Completed Structures;
Cow Pen, Sheep Pen, 2 Small Houses, Our Mansion, Bridge, Tree Farm, Working Basketball Court, Fountain

In Progress Structures; Tree-top Jungle Village, Roman Forum, (Public Market Place with a bit of Roman architecture weaved in.) Houses

Planned Structures: Public Farm, temple, parks

If you would like to see Olympia in person, request here or ask one of us in-game.

Olympia also boasts literally the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises I've ever seen in minecraft because of it's position within a plains biome so the sun sets over the hills and that the sun rises over the jungle tree-tops.

      Sorry I can't help right now, I'd love to, but building a town is hard, as you should know by now. It takes a lot of work so if I by chance DO finish my town before u, then I will gladly help out.

Sorry, I interpreted that the place was part of Greece because Olympia was a famous city in Greece honoring the gods with offerings and the olympic games.

Ya, in social studies, I was learning about the ancient Olympic Games so I decided to name it Olympia. I will probably implement some Greek architecture too though.

Olympic Games are Greek... Should've been paying more attention to Mr. C.

*Facepalm* I knew that..... Your misinterpreting it avc, we don't have to put in Greek architecture if we name it Olympia, (though we will do so) I wanted to name it Olympia because it sounded cool.

Jesus, that a lot of quotes.

Ya, he's the one who started all of this. He asked if I wanted to make a mansion with him then we got the idea to start Olympia.
