Yes, well...The title says it all (and my signature  )...E3 has come and I am very excited to see the upcoming games and new software rapidly unfolding thoughout the EPIC Convention (especially new footage and gameplay for Assassins Creed 3 and Halo 4!!OMG!!) Hello There People of Opticraft, (Lend me your ears!)
Some of you may as well know I have made a similar post to this about 2 months ago but im afraid it has lost its meaning and importance to me and the people of Opticraft...This is about the IRC for the Opticraft SMP Server...
Now for those of you who don't know what IRC is, it is a chat website which can connect to the SMP chat channel and enable you to type and communicate with other people whilst not on Opticraft itself (Cool right! I know!) The point of use for IRC is that people are able to talk to each other whilst someone cannot be present or are unable to play on the Opticraft SMP.
My first encounter with IRC was back on the Opticraft Classic Server when I was unable to go on Minecraft at school so I used IRC to talk to my friends and view the Classic Chat that was being held at the time...I believe this should be implemented into the SMP Chat as I hope there's many people (like me) who wish to talk to their Opicraft friends but cannot use Minecraft at times.
Now I know this has been mentioned before and that Optical is busy with his life currently, but I think that once Opti returns to his Server he can set up the SMP Chat to IRC just like he did to the Classic Chatand enable us to communicate with the Opticraft community more often!
Hope I'm not the only one who would like this and I give my regards to future replies about this Suggestion.

Hey Guys, As some of you may as well know, Update 1.3 is on the horizion and ready to play some time next month. Like some people I am very excited for it coming our way with new Blocks and Items rearing to expand our imagination as far as it can take us! And I feel as if Opticraft could take an opportunity from one of the new items releasing in this Update... The 'Book and Quill' is new item which some people have been anticipating for quite a while (ever since Books were released in Aplha 1.0.11). It enables the user to write up whatever they want to in any format ( Italics, Bold, Coloured and Underlined) they wish before signing it with a Title and signature from the User who created it...The Book has 13 lines per page (along with 256 characters per page) and a maximum of 50 pages in the Book. Below in the Spoilers is the view of what the Book looks like when writing it... Now Opticraft has many new Users coming into the Server frequently, and have the option to read the Rules and Regulations at the Spawn Point. The only other way to view the rules out of spawn is the /rules command. However this can be difficult to be read when so many Users are online and posting frequently in the Chat bar. If Books were to be implemented on the Server they could act as a way to breif the new Users on the Rules, Regulations, Commands and Ranks about the Server. The background theory of this is simple! When a new User connects to Opticraft they are given the basic wooden tools to get themselves ready in the Server and set them off on a creative journey. If the book was given to them upon Spawning they could open it and study what the Server has to offer (You could even include the opportunity to Sign Up to the Forum and Vote for Diamonds!). And if the User where to die they could repurchase the Book at the market for a cheap price so poor Users can afford to pay for it... Now this is just a suggestion and I wouldn't know if it would be too difficult to programme but I think it would bring a massive advantage to the Server and may even result in less greif as people can resist to look inside a Book... I have enjoyed my abilities as a Trusted person and helped out wherever needed whether its water placement or advice and info about the Server. People are kind to me as I am to them and I plan to be fair and kind whenever I am on the Server! Another reason is that my timezone fits the Server's busiest AND it's quietest moments of the day where Mods are either not online or too busy with lots of members and guests with their problems. I feel this is an opportunity for me to step in and help wherever I can! By means of the commands for the Sever I am a fast learner and will quickly pick up the commands. I do have my own Private Server with plugins but if there are commands that I don't know, I will learn it and remember! I also want to thank Opticraft as it was the first Official Minecraft Server that I joined and that goes even back to the Classic Server of April 2011! I think I could help out this Server alot! Hey Everybody!
I'm sure you guys have heard of the Hunger Games and what an awesome Movie AND Book it is...Well yesterday i hosted a Server to the lucky few who were invited to join us and fight till the Death! The game was a great time and it came out with very positive results about doing a new game so i would like to invite you to join us on the next The Hunger Games Server which will take place at 7pm GMT tonight!!
Now i know this is very short notice but i want to ensure you that you will have a great time like the last one. My only problems is that if you wish to sign up you must be on the Mumble Chat before 7pm GMT so i can sort out the contestants and only then will i hand out the IP to everyone...Another thing is that there is only 24 slots to play in slots so be quick if you want to join!
Now this is NOT an advertisement but only a oppotunity for people to to have a good time on the Opticraft Mumble Chat!
As for how the Games work its simple! Pretty much like the movie but for Minecraft. The rules are: You cannot brake block with the exception of mushrooms and leaves, Once you die you are out of the game, You can only place blocks you find in chests and to have fun!
More rules will follow later on Mumble...
This is planned to be a good time but i am not taking any reservations or holding places so you have to be on Mumble at around 7pm GMT and The Games will start once we have a good amount of people ready to play! I will take any questions below as soon as i recieve them.
We'll see you soon and remember...

Hey Guys! Me and everyone on Mumble yesterday we curious if custom warps or extra warp stations could be implemented for your character. For example, your /home is one way to warp to you own point in the world but what if you could warp to a different place but still have your /home in another place. We were thinking that you could buy extra warps in the market but at a very high price so people wouldn't constantly buy them and place the custom warps all around the world (maybe 100k or somthing?  ) Alright Guys, I hope that was an interesting Suggestion. Hey Guys, As long as I have been on the Server I havent been aware that the SMP Server doesnt have an IRC...This would be good for people who are unable to play on the Server or talk on Mumble because they are at school and etc... However,  as much as it would be good having IRC I feel that some people will miss-use it as they may spam the chat bar and greatly annoy the people of the Server. It is just a suggestion being that the Classic Server has an IRC but the SMP Server doesnt... Bahraindude_2497

Name: Bahraindude_2497 (The One and Only ) Age: 15 Location: Bahrain (next to Saudi Arabia) Timezone: GMT+3 Join date: April 16th 2011 Forum Join date: The Same day Current rank: Recruit (However I was a Builder but due to my inactivity I was 'de-ranked') Reason for application: My reason for becoming an operator started when i was a Guest on this server back in April 2011 and i absolutely hated it when people greifed my stuff but unfortunately no ops were online because of the Middle East Time Zone I am in...and i've seen this exact same problem in March 2012 TODAY (nearlly a whole year  ) with many other people in this server. For example yesterday I was on the Server in the Members world and i saw an excellent design of 'Xephos' from the Yogscast...i went AFK for about 10 mins and when I returned it was absolutely GREIFED! Someones hard work and dedication has gone down the drain all in that 10 minutes... 10 MINUTES!!  The day is made up of 144x10 minutes...thats horrible...but that is why i am applying...too treat people fairly and punish those who have betrayed the abilities of their ranks...This is un-acceptable! Now somtimes when im on IRC Guests believe that i am the highest ranking person on the Server, next to a couple of Builders and the occasional Crafter...and theres thousands of Guests shouting for me to do somthing...but of course i cannot do anything...that makes me feel sad...  Why you should become an operator: Now let me start by saying thanks to the Opticraft Dev Server for introducing me to Minecraft and even a greater thanks because i bought the full game! The full version has taught me alot of thing and although i may not be the best decorator and/or builder ...I am very skilled in command operations due the many servers I have made made and created throught out the past. Minecraft has taught me a lot about my imagination and how i can do things freely to my will and I feel that it is only fair to pay back my thanks to the Opticraft Dev Server for showing me the beauty of how delicate and imaginable Minecraft is by becoming an Op. I will be a fair, well-trusted Operator of my time-zone... Have you been temp-op before?: Yes, twice actually but that was back in May and June of 2011... Extra information: I've have already made good freinds with new people i have met on the sever...I feel that everyone gets the right to do things on the server but they must indeed prove themselves worthy to succeed above all the other players...Once Op everyone will be treated equally and have their own trial to defend themselves if they have done things wrong... Reason for application: Ive been playing on the opticraft server for nearlly a month now and i feel that ive have done well in that time and thanks to opticraft i bought the beta and am thououghly enjoying it! Anyway Opticraft is my favorite server and is the second most popular on the minecraft website but yet whenever i see somones work getting greifed the operators leave them unnoticed and they then have to restart their building again finishing it an hour later than when it should have been done. Also when i play there arent enough ops in my time zone to ban greivers or mark and rank guests work so i would like to fill that slot for my time zone (middle east +2:00 GMT).
Why you should become an operator: I have been commited to playing Opticraft that since i started this account and have been playing as much as i can (my mum is threatening me to stop playing) but once i start somthing i dont stop. I am deicated to my role.my position. my Rank.
Now i may be a recruit (applying for builder) but it isnt the rank that counts, its the way you treat the game and how you respect everyone else in what they do. I want to be an operator because right now there is only one op online (Jobi101) can he was finding it difficuilt to ban greifer, repair bulding and mark guest's building but if there were two ops in my timezone everything would be much easier for ops if they have someone to work with. So all in one i want to be independat to the people in my time zone and help them if they need help. Thank-you.

Ingame name: Bahraindude_2497 Join date: 9 April Briefly describe all your creations: I have built the Scottish, English, French and Bahrain Flag...Then i built a underground colourful disco with a bar, pool, toilets and a dancefloor (reccomend to see), I wrote 'MINECRAFT RULEZ!' on the wall and also wrote 'I AM BAHRAINDUDE_2497!'. Ive built a monorail near the spawn which travels around the whole map with 4 trains and a big monorail in the sky. For pokemon i made a Squirtle (POkemon) on the floor as well a a pokeball in the air, a Rubiks cube with a house in the inside, two of the Mario sprite mushrooms (Red and Green) also a actual mario sprite and a red and white striped lighthouse (reccomend to see aswell).
