Title: Share your setup!
Post by: kagarium on June 15, 2015, 01:53:05 am
So, what do you play Minecraft (or other games) on?

Send a link to where you bought it, take a picture of it, or post the specs if you know them!

I'll start this topic of with my evolution of computers over the years.

Personally, half of what you stated above was in a different language. I really don't understand much about computers besides how to right and left click.
Anyways, my setup is basically:

Mouse

The mouse there (the black one) was a $10 dick smith mouse. Even came with battery's and has lasted 6 months without changing them.

It dies all the time. I'll be building away, enjoying myself, when all of a sudden, I just stop. It runs out of battery faster than an iPhone.

y'know what--
nvm  :-[

I think you would be better off investing in a new mouse.

I'm not going to share anything about my setup in particular (because that is not my area of expertise), but may I mention you can play minecraft through steam by adding it as a game? It comes in handy because you can shift+tab to quick message your friends on steam while playing minecraft.

I always run minecraft through steam, because:
you can shift+tab to quick message your friends on steam while playing minecraft.

Now if Overwolf would stop being a butt I could also use Skype without tabbing out of mc, and use steam chat through Overwolf. Simplifying life.

A slightly better MacBook than what I used to play on

Damn it my dad refuses to get anything that isn't Apple

It makes no sense

1400$ to get crap computer or 600$ to build infinitely better one???

I get 30 FPS average on CS GO with launch properties and lowest settings and force preloading and everything
Still decent at the game though and at least I can run a minimal amount of Steam games instead of crashing when attempting to run TF2.

344 MB of VRAM and a 2.7 GHz CPU. Still 4 GB of RAM.

*Crawls back into hole where I came from*
