Title: WiFi Connectivity Problems (Mac OS X Yosemite)
Post by: TooMuch4U on October 26, 2014, 01:04:11 am
I realise that not many people have Macs as they are not gaming computers but I was wondering if anyone else has been having these problems:

When I connect to my wireless network the Internet works perfectly but after about 3 minutes nothing will load or takes far to long (I'm to inpatient to find out if it will eventually load). I am still connected to the WiFi network but nothing will load. Other devices still work perfectly (Sisters laptop (OS X Maveriks), iPhones, iPads, ect). If anyone else is having these problems and/or has a solution please tell me.

Buy a reaaaallly long cord. But other than that, idk what to tell you. Someone gave me a router and I hooked it up to the regular router and Im using the wifi off of that, and that seems to work. I have no idea why, but it does lol.

Pretty sure it sends you emails when people reply to the topic.

I updated to Yosemite when it became available and haven't had any issues with the wi-fi. I'll ask around to see if any of my friends might have a clue what is going on there.

Hope you get it sorted.

Have you personally updated your Mac to Yosemite? If so, this is a known issue, there's plenty of people on apple forums etc who have commented about this.

I recently moved my computer to a spot  where I can conect it to the modem via Ethernet. But it still has the same problem :/
