It seems the enderman farm I bought access to was sold to me by someone that wrongly moved in after someone hadn't played for a while, so I'm in need of an ender-farm of my own.

That means I'm going to just buy-out instead of hoping to win by bidding.

P.S. I just checked it out, and endermen can spawn right at the top where a piston can't push them off, so might be worth putting some half-slabs down.

For my donation obsidian, go to /home frobalt gold.

Given the both of you access to the chest. I've not finished dismantling my gold farm yet, but I have the minimum donation and will continue dismantling it, so check back every so often for supplied until most of it is destroyed.


P.s. And yes, the iron and flint is there for you to ignite the portals :)

saddles are actually fairly abundant since they existed pre 1.6 and can be found in any dungeon......

i'd be more interested in seeing horse armor and nametags added as those are extremely scarce given the small amount of available 1.6 chunks that contain mob spawners/abandoned mines

Maybe so, but saddles are a lot more important as you need them to even ride a horse, so I'd say saddles should have priority over name tags and armour.

I got a nice amount by ninjaing some cave systems, but it would be nice if they were more readily available.

Recently, I decided I need an efficient farm so looked on the wiki for designs. The most efficient flat design is a 9x9 square with the centre being the water source. Using this method, you get 80 blocks of hydrated farm land for 1 block of water.

This is still a fairly small farm, however, and doesn't get the full potential. I found that a good way of expanding upon this is to have an 18x18 far, which is basically 4 9x9 farms in a square.

This way, you can plant exactly 5 stacks of produce.

To farm it easily, I'd recommend putting glowstone directly on top of the water source. This prevents you from falling in the water and provides a good light source.

However, you'll also need a light source placed around the centre of the farm. As you can see, i've placed glowstone on the corner blocks of all 4 farms, 2 blocks in the air so it doesn't prevent you from replanting.

To harvest, take a bucket of water and place it on top of each glowstone block (not the floating ones in the centre ofc). Replanting can be done fairly efficiently as well.

Planting 5 stacks of potatoes, I can easily get close to 10 stacks in output (after having replanted).
