Welcome to the Bakk two skool (back to school) dance. as many of you know, school is starting soon, and what better way to end the summer on Opticraft than to get to the core, our community, with a giant party? The them for this event shall be a classroom theme (possibly with a giant surprise) And so I need your help. Dress in the geeky-est and nerdy-est clothing you have (overalls, polo shirt with shirt tucked in too high, giant glasses, etc.).

Where is it?
This dance will be held at /home RuthlessTomato

When will it be?
This dance will be held on August 24th, 6:15 PM (18:15) GMT -5

What should I wear?/What should i make my skin?
This is a class room, so remember dress like a giant nerd, and make it good. *cough* and possibly *cough* a skin comp *cough*
What's going to be so good about this party?

Food, DJ, Skin competitions, Dancing, Couples, Themes, drop party, surprises

How can I help?

I doubt you were asking, but I'm going to ask for you. Yes, you can help. I need your help to build this, I need materials, I need DJ's and possibly a waiter.

Will there be surprises or prizes?

Yes, there will. Surprise item drops, slow dances, camera crew, cutest couples, best skins, and much, much more.

Do we show up alone?

I would ask if you could bring a date. If you aren't feeling like bringing a date (even just a friend) sure, of course you can come by yourself.

Let's have some fun! Come, or have no fun!

It should actually be styled as 30s, just sayin'. Anyway this is a pretty cool idea, I'd love to see how the final product turns out.

I was wondering we could have like a VIP Area for trusteds + or have like named out tables :D so people basically tell you who they are going to go with and you make luvely things happen and I was wondering can we wear are own skins and not have to go through all the trouble to make a new skin...

I'm sorry to all of you really looking forward to a 30's theme, but I thought the option I changed it to would be better and more time appropriate, and I know more about school than the 30's

For all of you saying, "why the change"'or "another dance" i had my reasons. Irealized i dont want to do a 30s theme cause their dances sucked. Also, the current theme better relates to whats going on in the outside world.i know more about school than the 30s.

The dance room is almost done. I still nees a DJ, waiters/waitressess, and possibly a bouncer. Dance is coming up!

Also - i am looking for donations for decoration - i need it. If anyone has cake, or money for supplies i would appreciate it

We're a week away, and I still need a couple things done. Anyone who cant make the time zones, msg me and ill work something out.

CAKE. I need it. I need alot, and I dont have the funds to get it.

Dancers. I want at least 1.

DJ's? I have music set up, and ill play it, but i would love someone to help play it.

RESERVATIONS. You don't need one, but if you want a fabulous title for you and your partner, mesaage me ingame or on the forums.

Lol I started my 4th week today (got out mid June)

Alright. If I'm losing a large crowd, then I'm going to have to ask coolcrab if he would like to take over and host a GMT +/- 0 dance at 18:15 (6:15 PM). In GMT -5 time, that is 1:15, when most people are at work or school. This WILL be a smaller dance, so if you can make the later one please do. I will need a DJ and waiter/waitress for this dance.

Hmm...
I believe the european dance would be 4:15 in the morning, but the american one would be 9:15 in the morning. Keep in mind that would be Sunday for you. (Don't quote me on this).

Well, being American, I've got no idea if the BST is correct. Even so, the original dance would be 23:15 GMT or 24:15 BST. So, about midnight. The other dance would be 18:15 GMT or 19:15 BST.

Good job Ruthless! ;D The party (EU) was awesome, I was making loads of drinks -LIES IT WAS POTIONS- and giving them away for free! I think it went as well as....well....as well as it could of gone! And it seems like everyone else had a blast too!
