Okay, this a pretty simple, yet fun game, I'm sure you all know how to play, but i'll just throw in a couple of rules  -Each Player can only add one word each post. -Each Player must copy & paste the full story (So far) and add a word the is bold. -Double posting is against the rules and may be removed. -Leave a line of '-'s before saying something that isn't the story. This is just a suggestion, but I thought, in the events board, there could be various sub-boards such as accepted events, or you post here: Events -> User Events, and if your event is accepted, move it to the main board. Basically the opposite of moderator applications

This post if for people who are fairly new to the server and are wondering why things like /msg isn't working. This post will explain available and unavailable commands related to personal messaging.
Unavailable Commands/Actions:
- /msg[/color] [Player] [Message]
- @[Player] [Message]
These bugs are related to the Herochat plugin and do not work.
Available commands:
-/t [Player] [Message]
-/tell [Player] [Message]
-/msg [Player] - Talk as if you would global.
-/m [Player] [Message]
These commands are vanilla and work.

Why you should become a moderator:
Many of you may know that I've had a rough past in opticraft, there have been ups and downs, rows and bows, however I intend to wipe the board clean and start fresh.
I've been practicing on a friend's server being a mod, I've been taught commands, guidelines, and generally everything a mod is suited to do. Now, I know it's not all about the commands and guidelines, but I do have a little experience and am extremely capable of the requirements of a moderator. I love helping out, and have been on opticraft for a while, however want to take my opticraft experience to the next level! Hopefully this will at least be on trial and I will take that opportunity to show what I am really capable of.
I'm also very active with all the commitments to do with opticraft, such as mumble, the forums and also in-game alot.
Thank you for taking your time to read this, this will not be bumped unless necessary.

Hello there opticrafters! Today I'm releasing my latest project! This club is about 2 teams that will complete various challenges to win points. At the end of every month the points will be added up and the team with the most points will unlock "The luxury room", that contains a chest with various goods in it. There is small chance that the chest will be a "Dummy Chest" and will contain common items that aren't useful such as rotten flesh, sticks, cobble etc. Also, at the end of every month both teams will select a captain, which will help decide who will complete the challenges and other management issues. Notes: - There are 2 teams: Red and Blue- All new tributes must complete an initiation test to declare what team they're in. - To apply for staff you must have joined the club. - Each team has 6 rooms containing different things. Staff Applications: Please note you must be at least a member to apply.

Other notes: As a staff member you have the power to ban, warn and disqualify players from the club/events. Abusing or lying will cause you to get your staff status revoked. **iCraft**Hello opticraft community! Today I'm posting about a small project I've been doing called iCraft. Some of you may know about this, as a few people already have access. iCraft is a small club located underground. Hey there opticraft community!
Today I'm asking the community for various rooms on iCraft. iCraft is a place where you can join for lifetime access (10k). It used to be based in a cave, however now it's located somewhere else. The "refurbished" iCraft, sadly only has 3 rooms; a magic room (enchanting, potions), a spawner room (zombie xp grinder) and the "iCentre" which is a main room. I may be adding themed rooms, desert, nature, nether room etc, however I need some more rooms that are useful. Also, I'd love to have a shop for service there, but I can't run it. Nether room and auto farm is being considered.
I really need some ideas guys! Thankyou!

Hello Opticraft community!
Spyow here. I was just thinking about having a sort of Big brother event. The idea is there is 5 porkchops, 5 steak 2 apples etc.. The volunteers would complete a number of various challenges designed to take the player's hunger away. This would go on for at least 10 days, with 10 competitors each trying to win. Each day there will be a vote as to who the next victim would be.
You must bring as much, if not all, goods such as diamond, are items and ingots to tempt you to win. However, if the has the most votes, they will be lead into a room where lava would land on them and there goods will be destroyed. Of course it is against the rules to have people die on your behalf, but the event would have to be approved by at least an op. I'd have them sign a contract to show they've agreed to dying.
If this event goes through, this is NOT the official post.

Okay, so basically, we all take up to 5 screen shots of our house (5 different rooms), this is a way to show off your house, and the player with the best house will receive 5k, a zombie spawner, and a chest filled with goodies. We have spaces for 2 other judges, I will accept only 2, good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing all of your houses.
