Want to build far away!

I am going to build a city in a place that is far away. Ive tried 2 times, both being unsuccesful, to get there. I was wondering is there any other way to get there besides walking?

Try on of the new warp towns, they are closer to the map edges. They are
/warp NorthEast
/warp NorthWest
/warp SouthEast
/warp SouthWest
