Mod apps

Well, I submitted an app when appswere still open and unfortunately :'( I was rejected. I'm not planning on submitting a new one cause I want to get EVEN more familiar with the server than I'm actually now. (I'm very familiar with things). Back to the point, apps are closed right now. My question is: what is the pattern the apps depend on,that lets them be open or close.

I believe that it is based on how many moderators get accepted and how many resign. They try to keep it balanced and other factor could be how much grief is happening. Based on past patterns, they should be open again by the end of the month (no promises).

I have a feeling mod apps will be open very soon. The past three days, there's been a few hours there where there were no moderators. It's usually in the very late night hours in the US, around afternoon time in UK. Although the mods do a great job, I definitely think we could use a few more active mods around those times. I realize we all have lives outside of minecraft, just a suggestion from what I see when playing. I don't run the joint.

Just wait about 1500 Minecraft days (if you play 24/7) for them to open.

Thanks everyone for replying.thanks very much Ryan's. I just want to say what is happening right now with mods. I was on opticraft on sunday afternoon in my GMT.+2 country. There were 100+ players online only one mod online. I think that although so many GREAT new mods have been added, they are still not enough. Also, I have noticed that most mods are American and Australian. But very little are in GMt plus minus 3 hours. Thanks you mods for doing such a great job.
