Can I just say that this was a misunderstanding because I asked Matty585 if I could destroy pistons an he said yes I double checked and he said that he put the pistons there and he told me to take them out and rytovius I'm sorry I didn't know Matty would leave and never come back.

Pretty sure that that is technically griefing. By blocking off his build, you are restricting his space and surroundings, therefore modifying it.
