Best texture pack resolution for my computer
« on: April 30, 2012, 10:48:26 pm »
Ok so I have a 8 GB RAM, 2.40GHz intel i5 CPU with 3.0 GHz turbo boost, 1 GB Nvidia Graphics Card equipped laptop and I don't have so many programs installed. It will be hard to answer but I wonder if you can recommend me the best texture pack resolution(16x16,32x32...) without any lag. I will be appreciated if you answer and be glad if you dont answer too :)

lol my sad little laptop has 4 gigs ram and a 1.00 Ghz processor, and i still manage 64x64 without lag, anything higher and i start pulling 15 fps lol. Get Optifine it works wonders. You should be able to do all resolutions, try a 256x256 and lemme know how nice it is lol

lol mines even worse 2GB of ram, intel celeron and 1.00 GHZ and it only runs 32x32 no lag, and even then i have to make loads of adjustments for it to work :S.
