Help with building a huge house

Ever since I joined this server, I've had the dream of building a huge mansion,
but my problem right now is not the materials, but the idea.  I've been trying
for a while to create a first draft in smp, but it either does not work out or uses
an unrealistic amount  of materials.
If anyone has any helpful tips, I'de be glad to listen.

I would be willing to help, check out my post about my new city I will build in the members + world. But if you help with that or not I dont care, I can give some resources to help. What types of building materials are you going to be using? Also how do I get there? Your /home? Also what's your ign
