Can I see a screenshot of the grief trap? I've known wingsnut for a while now, He's not the griefer type. I'd like to see if it could have been a mistake?

Benwin, there are ways of accidental grief trap bans. Also, mods do have authority to reverse these bans if there is much evidence that it was an accident.

I am in agreement with Tabooti. Wingsnut has never seemed to be the griefer type but people change...

As benwin stated, you need to break 5 blocks in order to be banned. If by the time you break 2 you dont realize that it is a house, you are out of luck.

Nyssa:
The grief trap floor is only set for one block, so after breaking it and seeing the inside of the trap you should have stopped.
