Were you recommended by anyone?: no, but i feel fully qualified.

Why you should become a moderator: well for starters i really enjoy the game of minecraft. i have been playing it for years and would consider myself a minecraft vet, i even had my own bukkit server up for a while. one of the biggest enjoyments i get from playing minecraft is not just building but also helping people. i enjoy settling disputes between people fairly and orderly. i would also like to add that i have been planning to start my own town and i feel like moderator privileges would help out greatly with accomplishing my task. i hope you consider me. i would be forever in your debt if you kindly granted me with the moderator title. thank you for your consideration ~Creepercicker~

Getting the Moderator rank won't help you with your town.. How do you intend to use the rank to create your town?
Moderators main duty is to moderate, not set up towns.

Being a moderator doesn't mean you can use the powers to further yourself personally, fixing grief you get is fine. But you aren't allowed to fly or anything for legit building.
