I don't think I'm already crafter level but let me build something other and I will do anyway an apply for that too! :P
By the way the problem about the number of the operators remains and even if both applications were accepted i will not be able to wear the purple title for a while.

But I believe that as you said, you need a lot more for crafter.
Dont give up, and apply for that whenever you are ready..
Take a look in crafters' world, or showcases to see the required quality..
