Farms slow to grow

It seems in the last week or so that farms are taking much longer to produce. Is this my imagination? Is this related to day/night cycles taking longer (due to lag?)

Well, when I grow my melons, i destroy them, and sometimes they grow back just after I destroyed it. So, I guess its just you.

Farms do seem to be slower in multiplayer I dont understand why
