The world files are there (Mainworld and Nether), and I have converted them into anvil and creative mode. However I believe this is quite an old version of the world.

How does one go about making it into creative? Or is it easier to download Zombe or whatever.

The only way I can think of without going through the save file would be to host a local multiplayer server with it.

And thanks Optic! :)

Exox615:
What I did:

* Unzipped the file and copied the mainwolrd folder into my saves folder
* Opened the save in Minecraft and converted it to anvil
* Opened up NBTedit via terminal (Mac only)
* Opened the world folder and opened level.dat
* Changed the game type to 1
* Opened the save again and found found my house
I believe there are some files in the saves folders that are not used by Minecraft in single player

clawstrider:
How do you open a .dat?
