Perhaps try disconnecting and reconnecting your modem/router. That quick reset might do something. Then try restarting your client.

Also, make sure you have premium and have typed in the correct server details (the right IP and port). And if you downloaded the new 1.2.5 snapshot, its probably not allowing you on the server due to non-compatibility with our 1.2.4 server.

That's all i can think of, right now.

Well, I did the connection stuff and it didn't help. Anyway, I entered the address smp.opticraft.net and I guess its the right one. And what do you mean by premium?

Meaning have you bought the full game? I assume you did, but its always good to check.

OK so...i have a cracked minecraft client...does it mean i can't play on this server? It also says Bad Login when i try to connect

     yes bad login wont work on the server (cracked)
