Protection Stone + Griefing

I don't understand the point of a protection stone when it doesn't protect anything?

I came back to the game today and all my things were missing, including the protection stones. Admins in game are not replying to my messages.

This has been a grave dissappointment.

Protection stones shouldn't be malfunctioning like you say.
Could you give the coordinates to your house.

Make sure your house is inside the /ps visualise area - this is sometimes the reason

I have to say that the protection stone given to me when I started is no longer there. It is gone. Everything I built in the protection area is gone. I loved the idea behind it and it is the reason I started playing on this server. However, I despise griefers. I am hoping for a resolve.
