even minecraftforum.net has 'like' buttons. It's honestly not "copying", its a widely used feature in many social areas (forums, social networks, photo sites, news sites,etc).

But Team9000 is our main competitor in this game. We both have classic servers of comparable size, with a similar ranking system, a similar smp server. We just can't compete with totally 1 or the other servers, such as WoM: Realms or LegendaryCraft (Or any other of the big smp servers). T9k and Opticraft are the 2 biggest middle servers, catering for both sides (Classic and SMP). My problem is that if we slowly become the same server with a different name, where does that leave us (or them?)...

I'm not sure why it is widely used, it is a pretty dumb feature imo.
