Do you have any siblings that play on this server?  It's possible that your IP address has been banned until February 7th, while the ban on your account itself has expired.

I banned you as I found more grief elsewhere in the world. This was from the 24th of January if my memory serves me correctly, and it was a wooden house that had been stripped of its walls.

Whoever banned you in the first place can decide on whether you should be let back in sooner.

I can explain why I took the wood. I just got on and I need some wood but there where no trees at all. There was a couple blocks missing and nothing inside when i got there so i took the wood so i could have some tools.

That is still griefing. If you need wood, go collect it from a forest, or buy some from the market (/warp market).  If a building is empty or has already been griefed, that is not a reason to grief.
