Disappearing loot

i heard the sound of creeper beside me, i jumped then died, later i went back there all my stuff is there... i believe disappearing items is because when the creeper blowup ur stuff is 1 sec intagible and will go through one block, if you jumped your items will appear in mid air, and drop to the ground and it will remain there. if you did not jump, the items pass through a block, they will disappear.. probaly cause by the plugin which prevent creeper from destroying blocks...

I was there with tb at said time This is what happened: Tb was working in his WIP so I came along to help. He got creeper bombed and there was nothing but gunpowder left. He was near a ledge so I jumped off (Into water at the bottom) All I found was some XP and melons.

Skepter:
Its sorta been fixed. If you die, you can now see them.
Creepers destroy items but i dont really know about any other ways of dying that will cause you to lose items.
