Just curious, have you actually made a stopping point within the ravines because don't they go on forever?  Or do you already have an idea of the magnitude of the city (say an average block length?)
Ravines don't go on forever. The way they are right now is pretty much perfect for how it is all going to be set up. The city's lowest limit is pretty much 10 blocks above Bedrock level and the maximum height somewhere around 20 blocks underneath the surface.

Also will you build signal structures on the surface world to guide ppl to the ravine or will ppl have to find other ways to get there?
There will be a few entryways to the city, but I'm not going to focus on them until the project is close to finished. As of right now, the development area is the highest priority of the project.
