A mumble party is when a whole bunch of people get on mumble at once.
Mumble is a voice chat service, and Optical has created a chat room specifically for Opticraft. You sign in to that room with your forum account.

Agreed. I couldn't make it anyway, as I was staying at a friends, but still... There should be a few days warning atleast.
