To be honest, I find this on classic as well. Unless people grief, or get in the way of building, or start placing chests, why do people care if others are in their house?
I get it if your in their mine, and mining, or say, trying to push people of the edge, or opening the door in the middle of night so mobs can enter, but what is the problem otherwise?

i open the door so i can get in and then somebody just gets in my house
