The funny thing is people always say "its only 2 blocks" But when it happens to their house they want the person banned.

Exacly. Imagine 10 people deleting x2 blocks. or 20 people deleting only 1 block. The house(or anything else) will look like Swiss cheese. Does this mean that noone will be baned?

@Nick: They call an op. The op fixes it. Problem solved.
@Tox: Are you saying that a griefer will make sure he doesn't get banned, by only deleting 2 blocks on the whole server. And that 20 will come along. If it is, then an op can just repair and warn.

I felt 2 blocks was not enough for a perm ban but too much for no ban, his "because i was bored" made it worse. So i banned him for 4 days, end of discussion.

It seems that you can not judge one situation from another. That is perhaps why Nick is an operator, and not you.

when it happened to me i just said undo his actions if it was 5- but like the last time i wanted him to be banned because it was completely griefed
