And I can't say obsidian towers particularly inspire excitement in me :/ It seems Notch thinks "Uh, Endermen, everyone seems to love them! Lets just make a whole world of them! So then everyone will buy Minecraft, and its easy for me to code!"
I would prefer it so much if he contacted the Aether Team. Now that would be bad ass.
