ofc you will die.
so they cant be used

Never doubt, anything can happen when we try.
Hell, we got to the moon because we tried, and people thought the same thing as you did.

In theory we can travel in space faster than the speed of light, only problem is that in this theory, if something were to go wrong it would create a black hole and destroy earth, so you cant just "try" with these sorts of things.

Also, not in theory, black holes are created by a high amount of density in a small area. Can't see how that will make a black hole. Also, you will need a black hole about the size of a nickel to destroy the Earth, the ones in CERN are about 1/1000000000th of that, and they only appear for about 1/10000 fraction of a second.
Ontopic - Apparently it's travelling around 299,798,454 metres per second, and the speed of light is around 299,792,458 metres per second, a big difference in science terms.
omaroo2:
space shuttles takes hours to travel with
im talking about a teleporter that can teleport you to wherever you want to go in less than 1 sec then ofc you will die if u where in it
clawstrider:
This is my problem though.
If you made a missile travel faster than light, then surely it would hit before you see it. So you would feel destruction, but not see it for several seconds... HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?????

Wormholes.

You got a vivid imagination, kid. That's what scientists thought until now, I, for one who's studying Astrophysics and Cosmology, believe another dimension is in play.
Nick3306:
Raul i have no idea what your are talking about, but to be fair im not quite sure what i am talking about either. All i know is that we had to read an article for my physics class and that was what it said (in a lot more complex terms of course)
