Alright i have been hearing news of ppl updating to 1.8 without making a backup and hence cant multiplayer, so i have uploaded MY minecraft 1.73 file http://www.mediafire.com/?zpc0snmc0u1n4m8
1) go %appdata%
2)click .minecraft
3)cut out the exisiting minecraft.jar file in to another folder
4)copy this in
5)u r done

first of all, your 1.73 file should be clean

so ppl dont have random mods installed
