(Mr thinks so too :P)  But seriously I'm not sure if I should be going for operator when the initial reason I joined Opticraft and the minecraft community was to build (similar to Raul).  

I really wanna go for Crafter and bring wonderful works to the server but I also want to be Operator and help the people of the server (I've had way too many OPless afternoons :()  I think Morten said that if a person does become OP they are allowed to go for Crafter and vice versa so which one do you think I should do for now people of Opticraft.  Should I go for Crafter or Operator first?  (And of course I know I still may not get the rank when I apply but I need to know)

If you are not fully committed to becoming an operator if/when you apply, then don't bother applying at all.

go for operator, and if you don't like it anymore, go for crafter. maybe you'll like operating better than building?
