Statue of Liberty

Mr.Monkey:
Hey, for everyone who hasn't seen it yet, I made the statue of liberty, with the help of toxicstriker91 and xoiiku for the inside. It took about 2 days for the pedestal, and another week or so to complete the entire statue. The inside is still a WIP.

Added some decorations on the wall





Big progress made with covering the stairs within the statue. They are only blended with the walls below, so you can still look around while climbing.



Still waiting for /copy to finish the patterns. In the meantime we started building a viewing platform at the ceiling, accessible from the second floor.

Second floor as it is now :/ still needs a lot of work.

This is easily one of Opticraft's star pieces.  I love it when I see something built that shows just how amazing Minecraft classic can be.
I can't wait to see what other projects will be build by the "Crafting Trio" be it as a team, or seperately..... :P

Yeah, we should call them the "Crafting trio, and after they finish their work, we put the signatures of each one of them :P

We made some progress on the inside, the ground floor is now almost done. :D We need 3 more stairs and a ridge along the ceiling. Then we will start working on a stair from the second floor up to the statue and try to blend the stairs in the statue itself with the walls.

Lol, just found this on youtube, it's not an official release video, and not the latest version, but it's not bad and the music is quite fun :P Shame he has fog on -.-
