OPTICCRAFT Skyblock: Cannot Activate Nether Portal

I have the required obsidian. I made a 4x5 ring of obsidian and lit the obsidian in the middle.

The nether portal didnt activate. Ive been wanting to complete challenges that require the nether and its been frustrating.

Please help.
