unable to play smp.opticraft.net

good day,

I have been playing on smp.opticraft for 6+ months, and to this date have not had any trouble. However, starting yesterday, Minecraft crashes everytime i log into opticraft, immediately after I log in. the log shows me being told I have no new mail just before it crashes. I've been running 1.7.10, which is the same version I used when it last worked. Interestingly enough, all other servers I have tried playing, both on 1.7.10 and 1.8 work, even opticraft creative.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I might be able to do so that I can return to my work on the smp server?

I've had this before, when you connect instantly try and tp away to another location, however if all fails reinstall minecraft, good luck.

Thank you all for your replies. I unfortunately don't have enough time to TP. I'm trying on my friends computer later. I have uninstalled and reinstalled java and minecraft (both individually and together) as in, i tried reinstalling java, didn't work, tried reinstalling minecraft, didn't work, tried doing both before logging in again, and that too hasn't worked. I tried with 1.7.9 as well, to no luck.

If i have enough time to get to elsewhere i'll hope that works. thanks for the help
