This is definitely a good idea but before we do this we have to fix what ever caused players to leave in the first place, or else they will all just leave again.

Supported, although I cant come back, I would love to see the server a bit more populated

Just saying it will probably have to be someone with console to run it taking in that you have to connect it through console. :P

Oh, no one ever tells me this stuff.

I believe our problem was advertisement, we didn't have enough of it. As for the people leaving, they just lost interest and moved on to other things.

What made a lot of people initially leave was when melons, pumpkins, and cacti were banned from the market. Then a few more people left when gold/iron ingots were banned too. But, banning those things is understandable.

Also, SMP's main traffic flow came from Classic back when Classic would have hundreds of people in any given moment. There were ads telling those people about our SMP server and some eventually migrated over (a lot of our senior staff and members started in Classic). But when Classic died, that source of traffic stopped. So Mojang can be blamed for that one for killing off Classic.

Another thing that may have attributed to people leaving, based on what I've heard anyway, may be our reluctance to change and adapt with what the rest of the Minecraft community likes (good pvp, creative, factions, skygrid etc.). So, people eventually lost interest here.

So ya, a lot of things contributed to our loss of players.

But that's all besides the point (I don't want to veer off topic) that connecting us to Planet Minecraft would help us
