Broken Server / Client?

To me it sounds like your connection to the server, I have this when joining the server but once the chunks around me have (eventually) loaded the chat returns to normal. What download, ping do you have. Are you standing around an area with lots of redstone or mobs?
You can try resetting your routers, close any other open programs that use bandwidth.

I have roughly 30 ping on all servers apart from Mineplex and Opticraft. On those two I get roughly 200 ping :(

Tobs, i'm standing at my /home.. i never ever lag there.. commands take 10 mins to pass through.. its not my connection, all other servers = no lag, even in redstone places. If this is serverside.. or something.. then it should fix itself.. if not.. then i'll accept something is wrong.. but from being on other servers.. no lag at all.. i doubt it.

I'm getting this issue, but on a different server. My friends on it at the same time had no problems. I have 20-50ms Ping on all servers save that one, where I had 978ms.
