Name tags for the ranks

I believe the only reason staff still had nametags designating their rank (when they don't have titles enabled) is so that lazy players who don't know that we have a command like /ranks can know who's a mod and who's not by simply seeing the default "[Moderator]" tag or "[Operator]" tag.
