New world or new borders?

Once we fully acquire the 1.7 update, we will definitely need more world area for new biomes to spawn. There has been a lot of talk in chat about this, but i am still confused. Will we be getting a new world, or new borders?

We will be getting a new world, there will be enough space for most (if not all) of the new biomes so don't worry. As for the borders, I'm not sure if it will be necessary if get a new world as there will be a lot more space as it is.
