I think we could remain a community server even if the server population doubled.

Anyways, being as the problem with "improvements" is lack of devs, why not make developer applications? See who makes an app, and see who of those people would have potential to be a developer here.

anyone with good coding and bad intentions could destroy the server

Yes and, Since Opticraft has unique code, it could be stolen and claimed as someone's elses.

That is why there's apps. The apps would prove who can code and who can't, and staff could try to determine someone who could be trusted with the plugin code.

But yeah, developer with bad intentions = bad.
