Really? On some servers there's a plugin that makes it so you can use different inventories in different worlds. Like if you go to regular Guest/ Member/ Old Guest then you'll have your average inventory, when you go to PvP World then you'll have, a full set of armour, tools and food. I'm pretty sure that's what happens on regular PvP servers that have customized arenas.
