Cannot get into minecraft

When I try to click on smp.opticraft.net there's a permanent X in the upper right hand of the box. I refreshed it and even downloaded the launcher and server again but nothings changed is this support related or did I mysteriously get banned?

You aren't able to connect to a 1.6.1 server if you're running a 1.6.2 client.
I suggest editing your profile and switch to 1.6.1 if you want to connect.

The new launcher has this feature already, no need to install a version changer.

Edit: Didn't realise 360OLLIE made an edit.
