Why you should become a moderator: As a former moderator, I think I have the experience (even though it's been a while) of knowing how to deal with most staff responsibilities the server needs. My last demotion was due to inactivity but I have grown my interest for Minecraft again, so I just decided I might as well give it a shot for this free time I have on my hands now :P .
