I think you're using a lot more time writing everything on this topic... All you have to do is save your current .jar and click "force update". You're not going to know untill you try, quit being so bigheadded and listen to people that try to help when you ask for it.

I bet that was one of those things that made more sense when you were writing it?

LIEKABOWSE:
If you seriously need optifine that bad, use Ultra editions, and if you're using it, use a standard edition. Worked for me.
