Glitching cauldrons

Well I got a strange texture problem. I'm using a unchanged generic minecraft texture but when I place a item frame and then a compass into the item frame it changes all cauldrons textures into this: (click to show/hide)
This next one is after a relog

I also took out the frame with the compass in it.

Then I replaced the frame and compass and boom this happens again.


If you know how to fix this let me know. Kodak was there and did not experience this issue. It also only works with a compass I tried with most other blocks and it did not happen.

maybe something changed in your texture pack, maybe force update will work.

Are you using Optifine? I think that may be causing the problem. Try removing/updating Optifine and testing it again.
