What is causing the server to have so much lag for certain people here lately?

my Reasons:
1. so much people coming on the server more often
2. I actually don't have second reason, but count this random jumble
of words as one anyway, so I can say why I have 2 reasons

I do believe we are running an unstable version of bukkit, that could be it.
