Well this post has be lost in the ecos and i would like to start it back up again, the suggestion of bein able to buy spawn eegs as a donation, would make the server quit a bit more, and findin anamals are next to impissible again, so give some thos because theres a bug that anamals cant come to the end which they do in single player, so give me your thots on this

I thought Opticalza liked the idea of donating for spawn eggs in one of the other suggestion threads, but it kinda worked it's way into thin air simply because Opti had enough other stuff to do.

$5 for 2 eggs does seem expensive, if I were to buy spawn eggs, I'd spend $5 for 8. The reason why I'd pay $5 for 8 is because someone might kill all of your animals again and I would like backups and not have to spend $5 every single time they get killed.
A deal package that would be nice to have is every mob egg (sheep, cow, pig, wolf, mushroom cow) would be $10 for 4 of each egg.

There is no chicken in there because you can just buy eggs from the market and throw them.

Sounds good - I do quite like this idea.

Then Nick came on later in the thread to say they would never be added, but he never said if he was also speaking on behalf of optical or not, or if he just wanted to calm down the "excitement" of those wanting spawn eggs as a donor item.

I think it would be a pretty cool idea for a donation. Especially since in 1.5 you can rename Spawn Eggs with anvils, it will be alot more promising for users.

Now there's a potential reason for spawn eggs to be an item obtainable as a donator item or in the market. You can't get named mobs without that feature XD lol. Obviously the biggest reason for this idea to make it through to the server.

But in all honesty, that would be fun to have a village with named villagers XD

I would fucking love this. I really hope that with this update, the idea of these spawn eggs for donation is reconsidered. It would bring a new potential feature for enjoyment. I think it would be a lot of fun to be able to get these.

It's simple, no plugin is necessary, just the decision of augmenting this to the donation rewards.

Watched all the way to part 9 lol. Aparently there's no part 10 AND IT ENDED WITH A CLIFHANGAR!!! Just like the end of Half Life 2 Episode 2!!!

I have seen this work quite well on another server. I personally wouldn't donate for something I could potentially find in the game, but other people seem to be really like the idea.

Except you can't find them in game. Spawn eggs can only come from an admin or op. Now all players including myself have either been stripped of, or forced to give up, our spawn eggs. Unless someone managed to keep it a perfect secret that they have spawn eggs then they're gone.

This will not happen if its a donation, that many people seem to be will to pay for
