The SnowyTown project: The SnowySkin Fundraiser

Thanks for the offer hammy, im sure ill take the up the jobs whenever i
can. Now, as for the SnowySkins fundraiser, i will lower the prices to
personally purchase a skin. It will only cost 30 dollars ingame. I am also
releasing other skins called Doctor Shard (its a mad scientist, snowey themed)
and the SnowyTown Apprentice (its a remake of my SnowyTown Master skin.
I will release screenshots of them soon.

Before I say anything else on this post, I would like to apologize for my long absence and lack of progress on snowytown, as I'm sure you remember I had my 'typewriter'* issues.
*straight up, my computer lagged horribly and died on me, multiple times even after it was supposedly fixed (note to world: never get a netbook, they only last a year. Max)
Since I lacked proper computer access, I was unable to warn you of my forced absence.

But no more excuses! I came to tell you the good news, I have a new laptop (not a notebook), and thus, the snowytown project shall go on!

I'd also like you to know that I'll attempt to recover the skins from my typewriter's corpse, as some you had showed interest in them.

Progress is going smoothly on SnowyTown! But as some of you may have learned, SnowyTown is a town consisting of 2 current layers:
1. Basement Level (for farming facilities)
and
2. Town Level (generally for housing)
With the current level of minecraft redstone and farming techniques, there are lots of ways the space in the basement can be used, but I was wondering, what would you think would be the best way to use the basement space in terms of item farming? And also, how can it be built? I look forward to your suggestions.
Things which are already planned to go into the basement:
- compact chicken coops (and egg storage)
- sheep farms
- automatic pumpkin/watermelon harvesters
- snow wells

P.S. I have successfully recovered the SnowySkins from my "dead typewriter", but I will now make them free to everyone, anyone interested?
P.P.S. this doesn't count as a necro-post, does it?

I've been toying around with red-stone ideas for SnowyTown recently, and I've been wondering, is it possible to make an automatic snow farm? If so, it would really speed up the building progress (because at the moment I can only build a few walls/floors before I have to get some more). Also, it would really help if you can donate snow blocks/balls, glass, and flowers (donate at: /home square_skull).
