do protection stone expire?

i have an orchard at x 300, z 800 in member world

it had been trashed but i have protection stones covering it

i have not logged in for a while, but how was a griefer able to destroy it?

They don't expire. Was anyone else allowed to build in that field?

and you must know the size:

coal: 11x11x11 --> 5 in each direction
lapis: 21x21x21 --> 10 in each direction
diamond: 41x41x41 -->20 in each direction

There was a time where the Protection Stones where completely 'fucked over' and placed ones broke and lost all protection. Just ask for an Operator to replace them for you

Yeah. Either a server glitch a while ago (since you say you haven't logged in in a long time) broke a bunch of protection stones, or you accidentally placed it while crouched (placing an ore while crouched turns it into a regular ore).

Like Redchecks said, just make a /helpop ticket and an operator will fix it for you.
