There was talk of hoppers being disabled when the update came out. This fell off the radar, so hopefully that means it won't happen.

Please don't ban hoppers just because of the golem farms.
Based on the mechanics behind golem farms, hoppers wouldn't boost the output of iron ingots anyways. At least not dramatically.
Unless LWC doesn't protect chests against hoppers I don't see why they should be banned.
